YOUNG ENGINEERS FORT MILL

Terms & Conditions

By registering your child for a Young Engineers Fort Mill program, you agree to the terms below. If anything is unclear, please contact us before you register.

1. Registration & Payment

You can register for a single class or the 10-class package. After you submit the registration form, we will contact you within one business day to arrange payment directly. For single classes, we will also confirm your child’s class date at that time.

Your child’s spot is reserved once payment is confirmed.

2. Cancellation Policy

10-class package. A full refund of the amount paid, minus a processing fee of $25, will be issued if cancellation is requested in writing at least two weeks before the first class. No refunds are provided after classes have begun.

Single class. To reschedule or cancel a single class, please give at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less notice are not eligible for a refund.

3. Missed Class & Make-Up Policy

Make-up classes are available with the 10-class package only subject to availability. Single-class registrations are not eligible for make-up classes.

  • Please request a make-up at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Make-ups are subject to space availability, since class sizes are limited.
  • Where possible, the make-up is scheduled in another class time that covers the same lesson.

Unused make-up classes have no cash value. Missed classes, including any beyond the two make-ups, are not eligible for refunds, credits, or discounts.

4. Pick-Up Policy

Parents and guardians are responsible for timely pick-up. A 10-minute grace period is allowed after class ends. After that, a $5 fee is charged for every additional 10 minutes of late pick-up.

5. Class Requirements

Children should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We do not provide food or drinks, so please send your child with water. If a snack is needed, please keep it light and non-messy. Strongly scented foods are not permitted at our venue.

6. Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

I, the parent or guardian of the enrolled child, understand and accept that participation in Young Engineers Fort Mill programs involves educational and hands-on activities. While we prioritize safety, I acknowledge that accidents or unforeseen incidents may occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge RonRio Ventures LLC (operating as Young Engineers Fort Mill), its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and agents, and the venues that host our classes, from claims, liabilities, or demands arising out of or connected with my child’s participation in the program. This includes claims for personal injury, property damage, or other loss.

By submitting the registration form and agreeing to these terms, I confirm that I understand and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver & Release of Claims.

7. Medical Authorization & Emergency Treatment

In a medical emergency, I authorize Young Engineers Fort Mill staff to administer basic first aid and to seek emergency medical treatment for my child. I understand that staff are not medical professionals, and I accept responsibility for any medical expenses resulting from my child’s participation.

8. Photographs & Videos

By registering, you grant Young Engineers Fort Mill permission to photograph or record your child during the program for promotional use. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please tell us before the program begins.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to follow staff guidance and treat others with respect. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the program without a refund.

10. Information Updates

Please notify us promptly of any changes to the information you provided, including contact details, medical conditions, allergies, or emergency contacts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Registered families will be notified of changes in advance.
